Ford's long-lived midsize sedan got a mild face-lift for 2004 and continues into 2006, but the wagon has been dropped. Taurus sedans won't be around much longer either now that Ford is emphasizing its newer Five Hundred model. Mercury has already abandoned its related Sable sedan.
