Ralph Gilles is one of the best known young designers in the auto industry. He was responsible for penning the well-received Chrysler 300 sedan, which reinvented American design in the segment.

After doing so well on the 300, Chrysler promoted Mr. Gilles to VP of Jeep and Truck Design, where he led the design team responsible for the all new 2009 Dodge Ram. He took some time to speak with us about the pickup, and how he moved from designing cars to trucks.
