We were able to grab two minutes (literally) with Bob Lutz to try and get an update on the Pontiac ST (aka Ute). This time there was no update. Lutz said he couldn't comment on the ST at all. We'll try again in a few weeks at the Chicago Auto Show.

2010 Dodge Ram Hybrid

Ram Gets Hybrid Version in 2010
Chrysler and GM partnered on the Two Mode Hybrid technology going in the 2009 Chevrolet Silverado. Look for new Dodge Ram 1500 to get its turn in 2010. It will share the same transmission with the Silverado but conventional power will come from the 5.7L HEMI.

Automotive News Confirms Ram Rumors
Jumping the gun on the embargo, Automotive News has confirmed earlier rumors that the 2009 Ram will indeed get a coil spring rear suspension (instead of conventional leaf springs) and that the dry, lockable storage in the sides of the bed will be called 'RamBox'.
