The thrill of racing down a raging river with only your wits and a paddle has new competition — the thrill of getting to the water itself in the GMC Canyon Crew Cab AT4.

Building on the form, function and performance of the all-new 2004 Canyon pickup, the GMC Canyon Crew Cab AT4 kayak show truck showcases the production vehicle's versatility. The new midsize truck is available in three body styles to suit almost any customer's needs, including Crew Cab, Extended Cab and Regular Cab models. It also comes in the popular two-wheel-drive Crew Cab and High-Stance off-road models. The full range includes the option of either two- or four-wheel drive.

Hauling friends and equipment in the Canyon Crew Cab AT4 is done in comfort and style with an innovative kayak cargo rail system and integrated tonneau cover that keeps both watercraft and gear safe and secure. A GMC Accessory bedliner by Wise Industries enhances the storage handling capability of the Canyon AT4. A gas cap key safe adds convenience to capability, allowing you to safely secure your truck while you brave the water. Canyon AT4's cloth roll-back sunroof maximizes the open-air experience for the outdoors enthusiast.

Styling and design mix energy with attitude

Exterior design and styling of the Canyon Crew Cab AT4 show truck hints of the flavor found inside the cab. Arc'Teryx material is used on Canyon's seating surfaces and in several accent appointments.

"Heron Blue" optically enhanced paint clothes Canyon's custom wheel flares, grille and front/rear fascias in a color that rivals the energy and beauty of the waters it’s designed to travel to.

Enhanced Bose premium audio brings everything together in the cab and an Acoustic Wave music system in the cargo area allows you to carry the beat outside once you reach your destination. This versatile sound system is engineered specifically for the Canyon to allow the vehicle's unique acoustics to work in concert with the sound system. This provides listeners with clear, balanced and spacious sound from any of the Canyon's seating locations. For premium sound outside of the vehicle, the Canyon AT4 includes a Bose Acoustic Wave music system that delivers deep, rich sound that you'd expect from a much larger system.

Power and suspension package get the job done

Giving the Canyon Crew Cab AT4 its get-up-and-go is a Vortec 3500 I-5 engine that produces 220 horsepower and 225 lb.-ft. of torque. Off-road appointments include four-wheel-drive, raised wheel-to-body height for greater ground clearance, all-terrain suspension components, tow hooks and BFG All-Terrain on/off-road tires with GMC 17-inch wheels.
