Texas State Fair Reader BBQ And 2009 Ford F-150 Walkaround
We’re in Dallas for the 15th Annual State Fair of Texas Auto Show media day. Texas is the largest truck market in the U.S. and the fair is arguably the most important new truck show of the year. Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Nissan and Toyota are here to show off their latest pickups in the Truck Zone -- a 135,000 square-foot outdoor display. We’ll be covering news and reveals from the show for the next few days.
We're also taking time to socialize while we're here. On Wednesday evening, PickupTrucks.com hosted a barbeque dinner for about 20 of our readers with special guests from Ford. F-150 chief engineer Matt O'Leary and F-150 marketing manager Mark Grueber joined us to answer questions about the new 2009 F-150 from PickupTrucks.com readers.
The highlight of the evening was Matt and Mark’s walkaround of a top-of-the-line Platinum F-150 they brought from the show floor for our readers to check out. Thanks, guys!
Check back for coverage from the Texas State Fair Auto Show all week long.
