Sandusky,
OHIO - Matt Crafton and the No. 88 XeSightingSystems NCTS truck will travel
to Nazareth, Penn for the Chevy Silverado 200 this weekend. Nazareth Speedway
is a 1-mile oval and one of the tracks rookie, Matt Crafton, has yet to
race. He looks forward to the challenge.
"I'll
be learning a new track and that is a hurdle, but I'll be fine,"
stated
Matt Crafton, rookie driver for the No. 88 XeSightingSystems.com Silverado.
"We have a good set-up for super speedways, but our short track set
up is the
best. This track is flat and very tight in the corners. So, from what
I can
tell, it will fit my driving style."
The SealMaster
Racing team currently sits just 54 points outside of the top
10. They have collected ten top-10 finishes in 2001. Rookie driver, Matt
Crafton, is 3rd in the chase for the Raybestos Rookie of the Year award.
"With
all the rules changes, it has set us back slightly, but we are focused
on getting consistent runs and that is what we are going to do,"
stated
Crafton.
The team
signed a new major sponsor, XeSighting Systems, at the beginning of August.
XeSighting Systems markets a high performance xenon headlight replacement
kit, which improves visibility to drivers while being road-friendly to
on-coming traffic. The kits can be purchased online at www.XeSightingSystems.com
and are available for the Chevrolet Silverado, Tahoe and Suburban.
The Chevy
Silverado 200 will be broadcast live on ESPN starting at 12:30 p.m.
on Sunday, August 26. MRN radio will begin broadcasting at noon.
