Its pretty hard to
keep a full-size truck under wraps though DaimlerChrylser has been doing
a good job with the upcoming 2003
Dodge Ram. We haven't seen any new spy shots since the middle of last
year but in these photos is the next generation Ram undergoing hot weather
testing in Arizona.
Though heavily camouflaged
you can clearly see this Ram is a crew cab model with four full-size doors,
something current Ram owners have been asking for since the latest truck
went on sale back in 1994.
Incorporating visual
elements first seen in the radical MAXXCab
Concept, the Ram be one of at least three trucks to be influenced
by MAXXCab's styling, including the next generation Dodge Dakota.
Dodge is also expected
to offer a heavy duty version of the new Ram but with design cues from
the Power Wagon Concept.
