Automotive News is reporting that Nissan has suspended development of a much anticipated heavy duty version of its Titan pickup.

John Schilling, senior manager for Nissan product PR, confirms that, "[a heavy duty pickup] is not part of our business direction at this time. It's something we're still considering, but development has been suspended. The light duty [Titan], though, remains part of our core product line."
