Trades Ins for Tundra Increase Over Last Year
Automotive News is reporting that the percentage of domestic full size pickups traded in during the first three weeks of April 2007 for the all new Toyota Tundra jumped up almost 26% versus April 2006 figures - to 15.7% of all Tundra sales. Overall, 62% of Tundra sales transactions in that period included a trade-in, ten points higher than the typical 52% trade-in rate for the full size pickup segment.
The Power Information Network (PIN), a division of McGraw-Hill, calculated the numbers quoted in the story. In March 2007, PIN noted a strong start to Tundra sales.
