If you consider
yourself an audiophile or appreciate listening to your tunes on a great
system, the 2002 Ranger Tremor audio system is for you. Tremor, an optional
limited-edition production audio package, brings an aftermarket-grade
audio system to the best-selling compact pickup.
The Tremor
audiophile system is featured on Ranger Edge - the newest derivative in
Ford's Ranger lineup - and appeals to young, active customers.
Tremor, available
only as a SuperCab to house the built-in subwoofer, kicks Edge features
up a notch with unique tires and wheels, white-face gauges and custom
seating surfaces.
"The
Tremor audio system rocks," said Shawn McDermott, Ranger marketing
manager. "When you listen to Tremor you really get the full effect
of the music. It doesn't matter what type of music genre you prefer -
Tremor delivers great sound quality."
Tremor boasts
a premium Pioneer sound system producing peak power of 485 watts
and a custom designed-in subwoofer enclosure that fits in the rear floor
area. The audio system complements the pickup's youthful image that includes
big bold tires and 16-inch wheels, 4x4 ride height and monochromatic exterior
styling cues.
Standard
Tremor equipment includes:
