2000 Nissan Frontier Continued... The exterior of the XE King Cab comes with optional chrome grille and bumpers, fender flares, and tailgate finisher (the flares and finisher are part of the Value Truck Package only on the 4x2 along with dual power mirrors). On the XE-V6 "Desert Runner" 4x4, if you order the Off-Road Package you get the 4x4 Off Road tailgate decal. P215 tires are standard on the 4x2 XE King Cab and P235 tires are standard on the 4x4 model. P235 tires are standard on both the 4x4 and 4x2 XE-V6 with the option to upgrade to P265/70R15s - both part of the Value Plus Package or Off Road Package. Fender flares are standard on the XE-V6.
Power windows, door locks, cruise control, remote keyless entry, and security system are optional. On the SE-V6 you can choose the Utility Package with tubular roof racks and a limited slip differential on the 4x4 only or you can opt for the Sport Package with flip up glass sunroof and a premium AM/FM/CD/cassette audio system. The XE-V6 and SE-V6 Crew Cabs are perhaps the most eagerly awaited trucks Nissan has ever produced in North America. Both versions come with the six cylinder engine and easily seat 5 people. Four wheel ABS is standard on the two trucks. As with the XE-V6 and SE-V6, the option packages are the same for the interior and exterior.
The Crew Cab is built on a heavy duty 4 wheel drive chassis which gives the 4x2 the same rigidity, height, and ground clearance as the as the 4x4 version. Nissan claims the Crew Cab can tow more than the standard equipped Jeep Cherokee and Ford Explorer.
