Step 8: The upper and lower ball joints are reconnected to the new spindle.
Step 9: The new shock absorbers are installed, completing the front end.
Step 10: At the rear, Ibold lays out the paper template for C notching the frame rail.
Step 11: Here he scribes the cutline on the frame rail.
Step 12: A plasma cutter is used to cut out the C notch on the frame rail.
Step 13: Here's a close look at the frame rail, showing the cut that will now lower the frame and allow the rear axle to be "flipped."
Step 14: The C notch is lined up for drilling the mounting holes. It will reinforce the cutout section of the frame rail.
